The Vacation Is About To Begin!
I'm sitting here waiting for my dad to take me to the bus station. It didn't take me long to pack at all. It went so quick in fact that I'm a little nervous about forgetting something important. I bought some luggage last night and I had plenty of room for everything. I was thinking of brining my guitar with me but it would be too much of a hassle on the bus and plane.
I'm not as antsy as I usually am as I wait for a big event to finally happen. Maybe that feeling will arrive once I'm sitting in the bus station. My bus leaves just before 1am, but my dad is dropping me off at 11pm because he doesn't want to stay up late. It'll be all good though as I'm sure I'll get a little more used to waiting while I'm on this trip since I'm sure I'll be doing plenty of it at the airports.
Hopefully I can grab some breakfast while I'm at the airport. My airline ticket receipt states that food is available on the 3hr flight for a fee. I think I'd rather try for a toasted bagel at Tim Horton's or something than take a chance with airline food. At least that way I'll know what I'm getting.
So yeah. I'm totally excited for this trip. Sure it will be tough on my body as I drive around 3000 miles, but it'll be worth it. I'll just have to remind myself of that once I arrive at the airport this morning since I'm sure I won't be sleeping on the bus to Toronto. I can never get comfortable on those things.
Matthew.
