Proud TV Owner
We interrupt this blog for the following news update...
Sam: Reports have been flooding in and we have the exclusive interview to confirm the rumors. We'll turn things over to Matthew who's on location:
Matthew: Thanks Sam. So Clemster, are the rumors true? Did you really buy a TV this weekend?
Clemster: Yes folks it's true. I purchased my first TV.
Matthew: What made you decide to buy this TV?
Clemster: Well I've been debating for a while whether to buy one or not, so I've always been watching prices, hoping to find a good deal on one. Futureshop here in town just changed locations and were having a grand opening sale. After seeing this deal in their flyer I knew the time was right to buy.
Matthew: So tell me a little bit about this TV. Have you named it yet?
Clemster: *chuckles* No Matt, it doesn't have a name. It's a Toshiba 26" widescreen high definition TV.
Matthew: Wow. That sounds like an expensive TV.
Clemster: Well for $499 CAD it was a great deal. I mean on Toshiba's website it's listed at $599 CAD. It may not be a plasma or an LCD screen but the picture quality is great.
Matthew: So what do your friends and family think?
Clemster: After I set it up in my room, my family came to take a look. My mom and my sister crowded in on my bed, my dad sat in my computer chair, and I was standing up. It was a pretty funny sight to see since my room isn't all that big.
Matthew: *chuckles* I bet it was funny. Is your room the best place to have it then?
Clemster: No not really, but I'm hoping to move out soon so this is my first purchase for my new place.
Matthew: New place?! Do tell!
Clemster: Actually, I don't have a new place yet, but if my contract gets renewed at the end of the month I'll definitely be getting my own place.
Matthew: Thanks for taking the time to talk with us Clemster. We look forward to hearing about the new place once you get it. Back to you Sam.
Sam: Thanks for the story Matthew. This has been a CGN news update. We now return you to the blog currently in progress.
