Back To Making My Own Bed

I just got back from Toronto about an hour ago. I'm not too sure what to do with myself tonight. There's a college and career's meeting I could go to in a half-hour. I could watch the 2nd half of the 2nd season of Battlestar Galactica that I bought while I was away. There's even the option of cleaning off all the programs I installed onto the work laptop I borrowed for the week. Decisions, decisions.

My time with Andy, Dana, and Nathan was great. It was nice to relax with them. Dana and Nathan were just getting over colds so I hope I don't catch what they had. Nathan is as cute as ever. He was pretty excited to see me. I was showing them pictures of Brady, which has pictures of my mom. Nathan was sharp enough to pick up that my mom is Brady's Gramma - I was very impressed. The Barbers have a new fridge which they desperately needed. Next is a new car which they need even more, but considering how tight money is for them it will be a long time. Oh and they seemed to enjoy kicking my butt about figuring out what I want to do with my life, and just finding a place of my own.

Living in Toronto would drive me crazy. In the morning it took George and I a minimum of 50 minutes to drive what should take only 15 minutes at the most. That was definitely not a fun time to be driving a standard. I can totally understand how road rage develops in that environment. Not to mention the sheer number of people there. After the ball game George and I felt like sheep while trying to get to the Subway.

Coming back home is as bitter sweet as always this time. It'll be nice to get back into a routine, but hopefully it doesn't lull me back into lethargy.

Matthew.
