Mmmmm... Reese's Pieces
Just sitting here taking a quick break from the chaos that is work. Thing have been nuts this week as we try to meet an important Ministry deadline on Friday. I've been pulled in to help with the project and it's been non-stop since Monday morning. Had to work 3 hrs worth of overtime on Monday, staying until 7pm. Things are extra urgent for us since Friday is the first day of March Break which means we can't even harass the schools about their data at the last moment. We'll all be ready for the "work bell" to go Friday afternoon. I just wanna know who told work that I've been complaining about not having much to do cause I sure didn't tell them.
I'm pretty near recovered from my latest cold. I was very self conscious of coughing which has kept the asthmatic coughing at bay that I normally get with a cold. So if all goes well the band will finally get to have a practice after missing the last 6 due to my health and weather.
If you're looking for a recent movie to see I'd highly recommend Cinderella Man. Such a fantastic, uplifting movie about the power of love and the human spirit. And the fact that it's a true story makes it even better. I was home alone when I watched it so I couldn't help myself but crank up the sound during the boxing matches, mostly so I could fill my room with the sounds of the crowd. I'll have to watch it again on my computer so I'll have surround sound and a subwoofer. After the Oscars this weekend I'll definitely have to check out Walk The Line and Crash.
