The Life of A Computer g33k
Well my first week of "vacation" is pretty much over. I've actually enjoyed this so far. Being one of 4 people in the whole building is quite nice. I've moved my stuff so I'm working beside Dom, the network admin, so we can keep each other occupied. I've been playing some of my music over speakers so he's had a taste of Christian music. I've very much liked getting into work for 9 instead of 8. It's amazing, but that hour seems to make all the difference. Unfortunately it's not possible for me to do that since the office closes at 4pm right now. Oh well. I'm still on schedule for taking Mondays and Fridays off so we'll see if I can keep myself busy for 4 straight days. lol
Well lately I've been playing with the innards of my computer. When I got back from Ottawa I took a dremel to my computer case and cut a hole in the back for a fan. This week I got a new heatsink and fan for my CPU so I had some fun installing that. My old fan made a lot of noise (enough to keep my up at night) and now my computer runs much quieter. And well it's pretty cool lookin'. Here's a pic. :D I'm playing with Hello that hosts pics for Blogger users so I'm trying to "hack" it so it looks the way I want.
Matthew.
