What Have I Got In My Pocket?
Well folks, after deciding to make a large purchase since I paid off my loan, and after much debate on what to spend that money on, I bought myself an iPod mini. More specifically I bought a green 6GB one and it looks like this:
Man is this thing ever sweet. I put 566 songs (not even half the capacity) on it last night and it only took 5 minutes to transfer it all. Those 566 songs is over 1 day of continuous music.
Talk about small and compact. The click wheel has to be the best feature. You just roll your thumb around the ring and it scrolls up and down your song list and menu options. Then just click one of the four sides or the button in the middle to select, play, skip a song, etc. The only negative about it is the price and the fact that in order to replace the rechargable battery you have to send it to Apple. By ordering straight from Apple I was able to get an education discount which helped with the cost. But all told, after buying the iPod, the option dock, charger, and protective case, it cost me $450 CAD. Now if only the case would get here so I can stop worrying about scratching it. Oh and it came with free laser engraving as well, so on the back my iPod says "CleMster's iPod". :D
Anywho. I'll be taking this just about everywhere. To work. On my walks at lunch. While I wait for and ride on the bus. I can use it in a car. Now I can bring my music everywhere. All this in a tightly bundled metallic-green package. Woo!
Matthew.

Ooooh!
I'm looking to replace my mp3 CD player sometime in the future, after I find a better job. The iPod Mini sounds like a good idea, except for the fact that it costs just slightly less than a month's rent for me. :p
